Trip to Grindelwald and Zurich, Switzerland

Join Lexington Ski and Sports Club for great Alpine skiing at multiple areas easily accessible from Grindelwald, for touring some of the most beautiful country you will ever see, and a chance to visit several close by unique sites.

The Jungfrau Ski Region comprises two valleys, three mountain ranges, and over 211 kilometers of perfectly prepared pistes - all run with legendary Swiss efficiency!  You’ll have a chance to ski the same slopes that were in the James Bond movie, as well as the Eiger, the Monch, and the Jungfrau.  

Our trip will include…

• Airfare round trip from Lexington to Zurich
• Ground transfers between Zurich and Grindelwald
• Seven nights accommodations in Grindelwald (choice of two hotels)
• Full hot and cold breakfast daily
• Five dinners
• Welcome drink and orientation at the hotel
• Two night hotel accommodations in Zurich
• Breakfast daily in Zurich

Note that lift tickets are not included in the package, but they are considerably more reasonable than what we see here in the states.  (There is a discount for seniors, age 62 is the magic number.) We have gotten discounts on both equipment rentals and lift tickets through our vendor in the past, but we do not have any news on that just yet!

Participants will receive detailed information about both Grindelwald and Zurich, to facilitate individual exploring, as well as ease in navigating the area. Several optional group excursions are planned to significant areas near Grindelwald. Switzerland’s legendary train service is literally right at the front door of the hotel for those wishing to explore on their own.

Pricing for this trip will be from $2569 to $3330, depending on your hotel choice and rooming configuration (private or double room).

Additionally, new members must fill out a club Membership Application and pay dues.  Existing members need to have their renewal Membership completed and paid prior to acceptance for the trip.  

For new members, your $40 membership application fee will be credited to your final trip payment.
